MAHAVEER ENTERPRISES

Est. 1949 · Seventy-five years on the loop
Scroll

In a spinning mill, the fibre that falls to the floor is called waste. We have spent seventy-five years proving that word wrong.

Nothing here is waste.

What one mill discards, another mill spins into yarn. Comber noil, carding waste, droppings, pneumafil — each has a second life waiting in an open-end rotor. Mahaveer is the link that carries the fibre from the mill that is done with it to the mill that needs it. That link has not broken since 1949.

The
Material

Seven by-products move through our hands. Each leaves one mill as a loss and arrives at another as a raw material. Drag, scroll, or follow the fibre.

01 / 07

Comber
Noil

From the combing frame — the short fibres pulled out to make finer yarn.

Becomes nonwovens, open-end yarn, and blended felt.

02 / 07

Carding
Waste

From the carding cylinder — tangled fibre cleaned off the wire.

Becomes coarse yarn, mattress wadding, insulation.

03 / 07

Flat
Strips

From the revolving flats of the card — dense with trapped neps and dust.

Becomes reclaimed fibre for low-count spinning.

04 / 07

Blowroom
Droppings

From the opening line — trash, seed and short fibre beaten out of the bale.

Becomes recovered lint and oil-absorbent stock.

05 / 07

Pneumafil

From the suction system of the ring frame — fine broken roving drawn away by air.

Becomes high-grade open-end yarn — near-first quality.

06 / 07

Ring
Spinning

From the ring frame — soft, hard and roving waste from spinning.

Becomes re-spun yarn, cleaning wipers, cotton batting.

07 / 07

Open-End
Waste

From rotor spinning — the final by-product of the recycled loop.

Becomes yarn again, and the loop closes.

and the loop keeps
running.
The scale of it ↓

Measured
in mountains.

The loop only matters if it turns at volume. Ours moves the by-products of an entire industry through a single point in Indore, and out across the mill towns of India.
